CONTENTS: Hematoxylin, Potassium Alum, Mercuric Oxide (Red), Ethanol, HCl, Eosin Y, Aniline, Glacial Acetic Acid, Napthol Green B

FOR IN VITRO DIAGNOSTIC USE ONLY.
RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE: Sol. I - 10 minutes. Wash in running water 5 minutes. Differentiate in Sol. II. Wash in running water - 5 minutes. Blue in ammonia water (5 - 10 drops of ammonia to 100 ml of distilled water.) Wash in running water - 5 minutes. Sol. III - 5 minutes. Rinse in distilled water. (Note deep rose color.) Sol. IV - 5 minutes. Differentiate in 95% Alcohol, 2 changes, until erythrocytes in section are bright rose (check with microscope). Dehydrate in absolute alcohol and clear in xylene, 2 changes each.
RESULTS: Amoeba - blue-green; nuclei - deep blue green; ingested RBC’s - deep rose; tissue - green.
